Is it not normal for people at work, or everywhere else, to tell you that you are ugly?  Has my entire life experience been an outlier?

I’m pretty sure no one has said anything about me being ugly since high school, despite the fact that I’m certainly not pretty. I recommend you get better coworkers)

Good. These security/TSA are pretty shitty people all-in-all. Some travelers don’t do this all the time (me for instance) and when we pass through their checkpoint, its not at all obvious what they want and they think its funny to screw with us?

Last week I was flying back from Europe. Security there did NOT require me to remove my shoes and did not require me to remove my laptop from my bag. I was asked to put  my carry-on into bins to pass through the X-ray. On landing in Philadelphia, I was screened again (stupid) but this time I had to do the shoes off thing, and I just automatically put my carry on in a bin. The woman brusquely informed me that I did it wrong (only put shoes and laptop in the bin, not the bag) and asked me if I knew how to follow instructions. Of course I had just gotten off a 9 hour flight and was tired and harried with people lined up behind me and needing to catch the next flight.  Screw her.

I hate flying.

Philly is also an exceptionally bad airport. Absolute miserable people working there. My brother had two TSA workers get into a fight with each other there once.
